RA Honored Artist: Armenian culture maltreated
“Armenian culture is maltreated. A cultural policy should be developed,” director of Armenian national instruments state orchestra, Honored Artist, professor Norayr Davtyan told Panorama.am. According to him much depends on cultural activists, who are sometimes indifferent towards culture.
Norayr Davtyan said that musicians playing on national instruments earn little, hence many avoid from playing on those instruments.
Although the national instruments are in good conditions, N. Davtyan asked the Ministry of Culture to allocate money for their repair.
