Shushan Petrosyan: Thanks to God, Dorians won’t go to Azerbaijan
Armenian renowned singer Shushan Petrosyan says issue regarding Armenia’s participation in Eurovision-2012 song contest is of no worth.
“I’m so happy what they’ve decided I told earlier. I’m asking those insisting on our participation, would you send your brother, relative or a beloved man to Azerbaijan? How can we play with Azerbaijan,” the singer requested.
According to the singer who would dare to send a representative to a country where no security warrants function, to a country that violates ceasefire regime killing Armenian soldiers.
Shushan Petrosyan said she was alarmed when she heard “Dorians” might represent our country in Eurovision. “Thanks to God, Dorians won’t go. They are amazing, outstanding musicians,” she said.
Singer Lilit Pipoyan says she also thinks we don’t have anything to prove to Azerbaijan.
Armenia has withdrawn a couple of days ago from participation in Eurovision 2012 which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
