N. Davtyan: Margarita Shahinyan is talented performer
Aram Khachatryan concert hall hosts a jubilee concert on March 11 dedicated to 40-year anniversary of Margarita Shahinyan’s creative activities. The singer told the reporters she wants to tell about her creative life which was both interesting and difficult.
Head of “National musical instruments” state orchestra, Honored artist Norayr Davtyan said there are few professional performers in Armenia.
“Margarita Shahinyan is really a talented performer. She’s studied Armenian church psalms, medieval songs, troubadour and folk music, Komitas,” N. Davtyan said.
The Ministry of Culture has taken the initiative to organize the concert.
