Alexander Iskandaryan: Parliamentary elections come as introduction to presidential elections
The upcoming parliamentary elections are an introduction to the presidential elections due in 2013, political expert Alexander Iskandaryan told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to the expert, if Armenia held elections on coming Sunday, in all probability, six political forces would get seats in parliament – RPA, PAP, HAK, ARF, Heritage - Free Democrats alliance, and Orinats Yerkir Party.
RPA, PAP, HAK and ARF will get into parliament without fail while Orinats Yerkir still has much work to do, said the analyst.
Regarding Heritage - Free Democrats alliance, Iskandaryan said they will not be able to get into parliament separately.
