M. Kambeck: Serzh Sargsyan described as experienced politician
“The 2/3 of RPA electorate is those who voted for RPA in 2007, while the majority of Prosperous Armenia (PA) electorate was formed during 2007-12,” Dr. Michael Kambeck, Secretary General of European Friends of Armenia (EuFoA) organization, introduced “Poll: Pre-election period in Armenia” survey results.
According to the survey results those who have voted for the RPA, will again vote for that political body, thus they are faithful electorate. The participants of the poll believe RPA and PA are able to challenge with the problems the best.
“People believe these two parties can challenge with problems like the conflict of Karabakh, unemployment, poverty, issues related to education and health systems,” Dr. Kambeck said.
The poll participants were asked who they would vote for if the presidential elections were held next Sunday, President Serzh Sargsyan is the absolute leader. If in 2010 president’s rating was 27 percent, according to fresh survey results president’s current rating is 33 percent.
100 percent of the poll participants perceive President Serzh Sargsyan as an experienced politician, and 77 percent describes Gagik Tsarukyan as a skilled politician.
71 percent thinks President Sargsyan is reliable, while 87 percent considers Gagik Tsarukyan as so.
The survey has been conducted by IPSC and EuFoA, and TNS ensured quality control.
