Madatyan to quit Orinats Yerkir Party
Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun reports that Eduard Madatyan is likely to quit Orinats Yerkir Party soon. District electoral commission No.11 refused to register him as a candidate for parliament because he had not been a permanent resident in the territory of Armenia for the past five years, the newspaper reminds.
Given the fact that Madatyan had been charged with attempted murder of the Armenian President, Arthur Baghdasaryan has been told that Madatyan will not be registered as a candidate, and Baghdasaryan did not consider it expedient to tell his co-partisan about it, the daily says.
