World Theatre Day marked on March 27
World Theatre Day is marked on March 27. First launched in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute, World Theatre Day is celebrated on 27 March throughout the world. The best performances and premieres are scheduled for this day. World Theatre Day is marked in Armenia, too.
Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan issued a congratulatory message to theatre personalities.
“I warmly congratulate you on the World Theatre Day. This day is one of the most favorite and longed holidays in our cultural life. And it is natural, as the theatre has been a constant guard in the history path of our nation.”
Today “Artavazd” theatre award giving ceremony will be held in State Musical Comedy Theatre after Hakob Paronyan.
