Zakaryan: Implementation of rights not a provocation
“The norms of international law define that every nation has the right to form legal authority, which the people of Artsakh are implementing for almost 20 years,” Republican MP Artak Zakaryan told Panorama.am remarking on a statement issued by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry claiming that any kind of elections in Karabakh are illegal.
Speaking to Panorama.am, Mr. Zakaryan stated: “If Azerbaijan thinks implementation of rights is a provocation, then the country has serious conflict with the entire world. Implementation of right of a nation cannot be considered a provocation.”
The MP stressed Azerbaijan may generally consider election process a kind of provocation.
NKR Parliament Speaker Ashot Ghulyan issued a statement appointing the date of Artsakh presidential elections for July 19.
