Armenian Church becomes culture center in Turkey
Turkey’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay visited the province of Amasia to get acquainted with the renovation of the local Armenian Church.
Turkish news agency Cihan reported that the Turkish Minister committed to complete the restoration the church. Before the establishment of republican regime, it used to be a protestant church. Then, it turned into a culture center.
Once an Armenian Church, it will become a culture center after the restoration, and described by the Turkish minister, it will contribute to the development of cultural tourism.
