Terry suffers rib injury
Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has revealed that John Terry suffered a rib injury during the Blues' 2-1 win in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against Benfica, Goal.com reported.
Terry was withdrawn after an hour at Stamford Bridge but Di Matteo hopes the problem will prove to be minor.
The extent of the damage will be tested on Thursday ahead of Chelsea's match against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
"He got a knock on his rib and that's why we had to take him off," Di Matteo told reporters.
"We'll assess him tomorrow [Thursday] and see how he is. We hope that he is going to be okay."
