Aznavour: Because I like to live
“Because I like to live,” worldwide renowned chansonnier Charles Aznavour answered with no hesitation to a question in New York, where he’s going have three performances, ITAR-Tass reported.
Charles Aznavour, who continues to tour at age of 88, told the news conference neither of his performances were and are going to be farewell concerts. “A journalist invented the term, who is believed to have been tired of me. But I’m still here,” Aznavour is quoted to say.
Speaking to reporters Aznavour said, in particular, that performing on Moscow’s Red Square, Greek Acropolis and Egyptian pyramids remain his most cherished dreams.
