Vacancy contest on a day off
A contest for the vacant post of head of Armenian Parliament’s public relations department is due on April 9, Hraparak reports.
“It’s no use mentioning that such contests are merely a formality, with the winner decided in advance. In this case, former director of Armenpress news agency Hrayr Zoryan is to win the contest. It’s no good complaining about it, because nothing will change. However, at least they can demand to hold such contests on working days. April 9 is a day off, as decided by the government. On that day, even parliamentary staff are banned from entering the Parliament building,” says the paper.
