Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office reopened the murder case following new evidence provided by the son of slain businessman Yevhen Shcherban, pointing to Tymoshenko’s involvement, RIA Novosti report says.
Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said jailed former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will be questioned over the 1996 murder of a businessman.
"After the appealing of Scherban's son, the investigators renewed dynamic actions of the investigation, especially in connection with the economic and business activity [of Yevhen Scherban]," Pshonka stressed.
