Valentina Matviyenko: NK conflict complicated issue
Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of Russian Federative Council, who is currently on a visit to Azerbaijan, says the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh is a complicated one.
“We are acting strongly within the framework of UN resolutions and are guided by international law,” said Mrs. Matviyenko.
Chairwoman of Russian Federative Council says Minsk group format is still viable to continue the negotiations.
“Russia used to have and will be implementing active mediation mission to reach mutually acceptable decisions. The two sides are also encouraged to perform good will and commitment to peaceful settlement,” said Mrs. Matviyenko.
