Germany considers to host 2020 European championships
The German football federation (DFB) is considering putting in a bid for the 2020 European championships; TMW quotes president Wolfgang Niersbach as saying.
Uefa, Europe's football organising body, has sent out an invitation for Euro 2020 bids, and the matter would be discussed at DFB's executive committee meeting on April 27, Niersbach said.
Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan and Georgia, Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia, Czech Republic and Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria or Romania and Hungary jointly submitted bids to host 2020 European championships.
