Georgi Vanyan receives death threats for organizing Azerbaijani film festival
Gyumri will host Azerbaijani film festival, which has caused aggression among residents.
Organizer of the festival Georgi Vanyan has become a particular target of anger, Hraparak reports.
The paper contacted Vanyan who said, “I have been receiving calls from a blocked number with threats to kill me if I hold the festival. I got such calls today, yesterday and the day before yesterday.”
Also, Vanyan noted he will hold a press conference after the festival.
“I know who they are, where these calls come from, and I will sum up everything after the festival,” he said.
