Armenian weightlifter Vanik Avetisyan ranks 4th
Armenian weightlifters Vanik Avetisyan and Samvel Grigoryan (69 kg) participated in European Weightlifting Championships on April 11 in Turkey.
Avetisyan lifted 144kg in snatch and 172 kg in clean & jerk, and ranked the 4th with a total of 316kg. Grigoryan lifted 140kg and 165kg in snatch and clean & jerk, and having scored 305 kg in two events that placed him the 10th.
Azerbaijani weightlifter Afghan Bayramov took the champion’s title in this category with a total of 321kg. French weightlifters come the second and the third.
Armenian weightlifter Hayk Hakobyan (+105 kg) will perform on April 15.
