Iran’s Majlis likely to consider Ahmadinejad’s resignation
Iran’s Majlis is likely to consider resignation of president Ahmadinejad, news agency MEHR quotes Iranian MP Ali Motahari as saying.
The Iranian MP said on April 15 initiative to summon President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Parliament and to demand his resignation will be introduced in Majlis agenda again.
Motahari is quoted as saying that the draft was rejected last week; however a group of fifty MPs plans to place it on agenda again.
Iranian Majlis summoned President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last month to remark on several domestic affairs.
