Armenian book exhibitions to be held abroad
An exhibition titled “Armenia…Road of the Book” will open at the Black Diamond Royal Library in Copenhagen on April 17. The exhibition, dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing and Yerevan World Book Capital 2012, is organized by Armenia’s Embassy in Denmark, Armenian Culture Ministry, and the Royal Library. The exhibition will be accompanied by a chamber music concert.
The library of United States Congress will host an exhibition titled “To Know the Meaning and Details of Armenian Literary Traditions” on April 18, Culture Ministry told Panorama.am.
An exhibition titled “Art of Letters and the Wonder of Images: 500th Anniversary of Armenian Printing” opened at the Kunstforum Hall in Halle, Germany on Sunday. The exhibition features antique books preserved in Germany as well as samples from Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts (Matenadaran), National Library of Armenia and Hovhannes Sharambeyan Folk Art Museum in Yerevan.
