Election official denies Manuk Vardanyan’s withdrawal from parliamentary race
Manuk Vardanyan, a candidate running for parliament by majority system at constituency N. 25, has not withdrawn from parliamentary race, district electoral commission chairman Armen Badalyan told Panorama.am.
Local media reports have been claiming that Manuk Vardanyan has withdrawn his candidacy from the race for parliament but there has been no official confirmation yet.
Manuk Vardanyan, Minister of Transport and Communication, is backed by Orinats Yerkir Party.
The deadline for candidate withdrawal is April 26, as established by Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia.
