Serzh Sargsyan receives Yukiya Amano
President Serzh Sargsyan received on April 19 Yukiya Amano, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to the relations and the development of the cooperation with the IAEA, considering it as an important element of Armenia’s energy and nuclear security.
Yukiya Amano mentioned that the IAEA and Armenia share a joint vision nuclear security of the currently operating nuclear power plant and closed cooperation to build a new plant.
