Giragosian says Turkey’s policy of denial becoming inefficient
Turkey’s policy of denial of Armenian Genocide is getting tougher year by year, director of Regional Studies Center said.
“Fewer countries support Turkey’s policy of denial and it is becoming inefficient,” Richard Giragosian said adding that Azerbaijan seems more engaged in this process.
The expert foresaw intensive diplomatic attacks against the recognition campaign of Armenian Genocide, NK issue and Armenia’s policy.
“Turkey has started implementation of a new policy aiming to create its own diaspora. Turkish government will host in June some 500 representatives of Turkish NGOs worldwide and a similar meeting is planned to be held in the end of the year with participation of 2000 representatives.”
In this regard Mr. Giragosian signified efforts to withstand Turkish and Azerbaijani attacks against Armenian diaspora.
