“We have emancipated our lands and saved our cultural monuments and churches from Azerbaijan’s nonstop policy of demolishment. They are still committed to annihilate everything having any relationship with us and our country,” Republican MP Karine Achemyan told Panorama.am commenting on Ilham Aliyev’s interview with Korean the Diplomacy.

Aliyev stated in the interview that it’s almost twenty years that the Armenian side “has occupied Azerbaijani lands and annihilated ancient historic monuments, mosques and cemeteries.”

The MP stressed that it’s not the first time president of Azerbaijan is making false statement adulterating the reality.

“If one of the sides is to highlight the annihilation of historic heritage, then it’s not the Azerbaijani side. The world witnessed the annihilation of century old historic monuments, the cultural genocide committed in Nor Djuga,” said K. Achemyan.

“A worthwhile thing is that Azerbaijan uses a region to send some messages about NK conflict where people are completely unaware of process and the background. If the issue has been touched upon in European organizations, that region doesn’t own even miserable information regarding the topic,” noticed Mrs. Achemyan.
