Pique discharged from hospital
Gerard Piqué underwent tests after colliding with Drogba and Valdés at the start of the first half of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Camp Nou. The player spent the night in hospital and remained in observation. The evolution of the player “in recent hours has been satisfactory” and this morning he was discharged from hospital with “any type of injury” being “ruled out,” Totalbarca.com reported.
Now the player, who was subbed off after 25 minutes for Dani Alves, will have a week of rest and undergo more tests after that.
