Paper: Why so many people quit Orinats Yerkir?
According to Zhoghovurd, some say Orinats Yerkir is determined to focus on the party list and overcoming of 5 percent threshold, with no support promise from RPA. Rumors say RPA is going to let OYP down on the threshold of elections.
According to the paper, “strained atmosphere in the party is the main reason behind a large number of withdrawals among Orinats Yerkir candidates.”
The paper contacted Republican MP Hovhannes Sahakyan and asked him to comment on RPA’s stance to OYP ahead of elections.
“RPA never lets anyone down. It’s not our style. Any force should race counting on its own resources,” Sahakyan is quoted as saying.
