Spanish Football Federation offers to host Euro 2012
Spanish Football Federation president Angel Maria Villar has reportedly made an offer to stage Euro 2012 this summer, Sports Mole reported.
The tournament, which starts next month, is scheduled to be co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland, but last week's bombings in Dnepropetrovsk have sparked serious security concerns.
UEFA are reportedly open to the idea of the postponing the event for a year if the political situation becomes more unstable, but Villar has reportedly offered to stage the competition, according to Onda Cero.
Euro 2012 is due to start on June 8.
