Parliamentary elections start in Armenia
Parliamentary elections have started in Armenia. All polling stations have opened at 8:00 am. There are 1982 polling stations in 41 constituencies in the territory of Armenia.
2.484.003 registered voters may cast their votes for the electoral lists and parliamentary candidates.
8 parties run for the Armenian National Assembly of the 5th convocation - Republican Party, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir Party, ARF, Heritage, Democratic Party of Armenia, Communist Party of Armenia, United Armenians Party and an alliance, Armenian National Congress (HAK).
138 candidates run for parliament by majority system.
31,451 observers from local organizations and 647 representatives from international organizations monitor the parliamentary elections.
The polling stations will be closed at 8:00 pm.
