Iravunk: HAK to speak out at rally
Interestingly, Prosperous Armenia Party received 1 000 more votes over the 2007 parliamentary elections while Armenian National Congress (HAK) lost 250 000 votes over the 2008 presidential elections. Iravunk paper tried to contact HAK members to ask them whether this may be caused by the fact that HAK formed a united headquarters with Prosperous Armenia.
“After many attempts of calling we saw that HAK seems to remain under the influence of election campaign and instead of being happy, it is going to protest again,” the paper writes.
“Come to our rally tomorrow at 7:00 pm, I am not going to comment on anything now,” HAK member, Armenian National Movement (ANM) chairman Aram Manukyan told Iravunk's reporter.
