Armenia’s Narek Kazazyan to perform in Eurovision Young Musicians final
Eurovision Young Musicians 2012 final kicks off May 11 in Vienna. Armenia’s Narek Kazazyan will also perform today. Narek will perform concerto for qanun and orchestra No. 2 E-Major by Khachatur Avetisyan.
The qualifiers to the final are: Narek Kazazyan, Qanun (Armenia), Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Violin (Austria), Alexandra Dzenisenia, Cimbalom (Belarus), Michaela Špačková, Bassoon (Czech Republic), Dominic Chamot, Piano (Germany), Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad, Viola (Norway), Jagoda Krzemińska, Flute (Poland).
During the semi final Narek performed “Impromptu” op. 57 in b-minor by Tsovinar Hovhannisyan, Carnival in Venice by Niccolo Paganini / arranged for kanun and piano by Alexander Shahbazyan, and Perpetual Motion”op.69 in a-minor by Khachatur Avetisyan.
