Ruben Hakobyan dismisses rumors about Zaruhi Postanjyan’s renouncing her mandate as MP
In a talk to a Panorama.am reporter, Deputy Chairman of Heritage party Ruben Hakobyan described as gossip talk the rumors about party’s decision on Zaruhi Postanjyan’s renouncing her mandate as MP.
Rumors have been circulating in the media that Raffi Hovannisian and Zaruhi Postanjyan argued and Postanjyan was told to renounce her parliamentary mandate. Postanjyan is not answering Panorama correspondent’s calls.
“For the present, the first five candidates of party list remain the same,” Hakobyan noted.
Heritage party won 5.79 percent of votes in the election, which means that the first five candidates of party list will take seats in parliament – Raffi Hovannisian, Khachatur Kokobelyan, Zaruhi Postanjyan, Alexander Arzumanyan and Ruben Hakobyan.
Panorama.am asked Hakobyan to comment on the rumor that Heritage seeks to grant a parliamentary mandate to Anahit Bakhshyan. He got angry and said that these talks were mere gossip.
