Maradona: Don’t be surprised if Guardiola moves to Chelsea
Diego Maradona has stated that he would not be surprised if outgoing Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola moved to take the Chelsea managerial role, Goal.com reported.
The Blaugrana head trainer will step down from the Camp Nou hotseat at the end of this season, and plans to have a one-year sabbatical away from the game.
"Pep Guardiola, a brilliant coach whom I admire, has announced that he will take a sabbatical in front of an emotional home Barcelona crowd. But don't be surprised if he quickly resurfaces at Chelsea, should Abramovich make him a huge offer," the South American opined in his column for the Times of India.
