Armenian delegation arrived in Moscow
Armenian delegation that President Serzh Sargsyan headed to Russian Federation has arrived in Moscow. Panorama.am reporter tells Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) session will soon kick off in the Russian capital.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is an intergovernmental military alliance. The Treaty was signed on 15 May 1992 in Tashkent, and ten years later, in 2002 CSTO was officially founded.
Today Moscow is hosting a special session dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Treaty and 10th anniversary of the CSTO.
Heads of CSTO member states – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are supposed to attend the session. The newly inaugurated President of Russia Vladimir Putin will also be present at the session.
