Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun: Armen Gevorgyan convenes emergency meeting of governors
According to Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan held an emergency meeting with some governors attending.
“Gevorgyan received one by one Syunik governor Suren Khachatryan, Ararat governor Edik Barseghyan, Shirak governor Ashot Giziryan and Aragatsotn governor Sargis Sahakyan and tasked them to finish all their incomplete projects shortly.
Besides, Gevorgyan warned governors to prevent rumors from regions about post-election developments and debts widely discussed in the political field. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister made regional “princelings” understand that they should take no steps and not search for mediators in an attempt to retain their jobs or to move on to another job,” the paper says.
