Hraparak: Arman Sahakyan refuses to become Shirak governor
According to Hraparak, Arman Sahakyan, owner of Sovrano Company, a defeated parliamentary candidate in constituency 34 of Gyumri, has been offered to become not Gyumri mayor but Shirak governor.
However, he rejected the offer to be Shirak governor explaining that Shirak and especially regional center Gyumri is the poorest and most problematic area in Armenia as far as social issues are concerned. Besides, Shirak is the second PAP region, where the Republican governor would always face hostility, the paper says.
