'Mourinho has not called me' - Yaya Toure
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has denied that he has been approached by Real Madrid, but added that “we have to wait and see what happens” over their reported interest, Goal.com reported.
When asked about interest from Madrid by Catalan radio station RAC1, Toure remained tight-lipped.
“I cannot say anything about that," he said. "We have to wait and see what happens. [Coach Jose] Mourinho has not called me. I have hunger to continue and be better.”
Toure was in Catalunya to visit his friend and former Barca colleague Eric Abidal, who is recovering from a liver transplant.
“He is very well and in a good spirit,” Toure revealed.
