Museums in Armenia open till midnight at Museum Night
Annual Museum Night kicks off May 19 leaving doors of dozens of Armenian museums open for the visitors. Since 18.00p.m. city’s cultural hotspots can be checked out for free.
More than 40 European states have joined the Museum Night program dedicated to the international museum day. France was the first country to mark the event in 1999, since 2001 more countries joined the event.
Director of Sergey Parajanov’s museum Zaven Sargsyan told Panorama.am Parajanov’s letters from 1974-77 when he was in prison will be on display.
Special exhibitions will be displayed in Armenia’s museum of history, national gallery and other museums.
