RPA waiting for PAP’s decision – Galust Sahakyan
Hovik Abrahamyan missed the meeting of RPA executive body Thursday because he was ill, RPA Deputy Chairman Galust Sahakyan told a news conference when asked why Hovik Abrahamyan did not attend RPA executive body meeting.
RPA is ready to cooperate with any political force, including extra-parliamentary forces, Sahakyan told reporters.
Regarding the possibility of forming a coalition with PAP, Sahakyan noted that RPA is waiting for PAP’s decision.
As for Orinats Yerkir, RPA’s Deputy Chairman said they have not yet discussed the issue of forming a coalition with OYP, but added that given the fact that these two parties have similar stance, it is likely that they will form a coalition.
Asked who will be prime minister and parliament speaker and whether the current prime minister will be replaced, Sahakyan said that they refrain from mentioning any names until things become clear in the political field. At the same time, he noted that “there is no need to make abrupt changes.”
