Haykakan Zhamanak: Republicans target prime minister’s job
According to Haykakan Zhamanak paper, currently Republican Party members target prime minister’s job, featuring main contenders for the position: current PM Tigran Sargsyan and head of RPA election campaign office Hovik Abrahamyan.
Hovik Abrahamyan wants to be prime minister and doesn’t mind if Tigran Sargsyan becomes parliament speaker, paper’s sources say.
Tigran Sargsyan - Samvel Nikoyan tandem seeks to keep the current situation, with Samvel Nikoyan as parliament speaker and Tigran Sargsyan as PM. They also want Hovik Abrahamyan to be chief of the presidential administration, the paper writes.
