Hraparak: Robert Kocharyan leaves for Moscow following Tsarukyan-Sargsyan meeting
Robert Kocharyan left for Moscow on Monday following a meeting between Gagik Tsarukyan and Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday, Hraparak says.
Kocharyan’s explanation for traveling to Moscow was that a member of JSFC Sistema's board of directors, he was going on a business trip.
However, PAP is confident that Kocharyan’s trip is connected with the issue of whether or not PAP will join the coalition. The point is that Serzh Sargsyan’s non-attendance at NATO Summit in Chicago upset Kocharyan’s calculations: he hoped that Serzh Sargsyan’s participation in NATO Summit would toughen Russia’s position on Prime Minister’s candidacy, making it compulsory that not Tigran Sargsyan but rather “some” apologist of the Eurasian Union should be Prime Minister, the paper writes.
