VivaCell-MTS continues implementation of universities support program
VivaCell-MTS, “Mobile TeleSystems” OJSC, gladly announces its support to a leading technical school of the country.
VivaCell-MTS realizes the importance of availability of powerful research systems and Internet for preparation of market competitive specialists. Armenia’s leading telecommunications operator has provided the university with a number of valuable equipments necessary for the organization of the educational processes in due course, including server room cases, server, switches, optical cable network converters, as well as 3G routers within “Home-Zone Turbo” package. The latter will give students with an opportunity to use free Wi-Fi Internet on the first and the second floors of the university building 2. A separate Wi-Fi corner will also be available in the university library.

The university’s academic scope embraces all the major branches of engineering and technologies, which include more than 60 bachelor’s and 35 master’s degrees in engineering, industrial economics and natural sciences.
The university started the move to two-step and further to three-step system of education years ago. In line with the Bologna procedures the university has successfully implemented the European ECTS credit system.
The university is a member of the European Association of Universities, Mediterranean Network of Engineering Schools, CIS Association of Technical Universities, and partakes in a number of educational and research projects. The university also has international students.
