“It was an honor for me to chair the parliamentary assembly during those six months. Common values and missions, including establishment of peace and stability in the Black Sea region and friendly relations unite the Assembly’s member states,” Parliament Speaker Samvel Nikoyan said in his opening remarks to the 39th BSEC PA plenary session.

Parliament Speaker stressed that Armenia greatly signifies regional cooperation.
“In the modern world multilateral cooperation and parliamentary diplomacy obtain great significance. Our mission is to support and advance those processes, which should not only contribute to the settlement of domestic issues, but to establish mutual trust and mutual understanding between the countries and nations. With this very focus we move forward to establish regional cooperation,” Mr Nkoyan said in his remarks.

The BSEC Parliamentary Assembly plenary session will last two days, Yerevan is hosting MPs from 10 countries, including Turkish and Azerbaijani MPs.
