Hraparak: Tsarukyan, Kocharyan to return to Armenia on the same day
According to Hraparak, Gagik Tsarukyan will be back in Armenia on May 28. By a happy coincidence, Robert Kocharyan will return from Moscow on the same day.
“Experts not only don’t rule out the possibility that they met in Belarus through the mediation of Lukashenko but also believe that Gagik Tsarukyan’s and Robert Kocharyan’s visits to Belarus and Russia were signals to Russia as to which of Armenia’s political figures is a true friend, who, unlike Tigran Sargsyan and Serzh Sargsyan, on par with Lukashenko seeks admission to the Eurasian Union. Russia seems to have appreciated it allowing them to leave coalition.
However, sources say nothing about guarantees Russia’s leader gave to his Armenian favorite, given the fact that he has been keeping Russian oligarch Khodorkovsky in jail for 10 years already,” the paper writes.
