Rally held near Azerbaijan's Consulate in Istanbul
A large number of population in Istanbul held a rally in front of Azerbaijan’s Consulate, Iranian news site “arannews.ir” said.
It’s reported that the demonstrators condemning Azerbaijan’s anti-Islamic policy chanted “Dictator Aliyev, shame on you”, “Aliyev Israel’s friend,” “Death to America, death to Israel.”
The Iranian media said Turkish demonstrators have also raised posters of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and leader of Islamic revolution Imam Khomeyni.
A couple of days ago another rally was held near Azerbaijan’s Consulate in Tabriz. Iranian clergymen and students of Urmia and Khoy cities condemned Azerbaijan’s anti-Islamic policy and urged the authorities to free religious activists.
