Hayatsk: Karen Karapetyan offered PM’s post
Ex-Mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan stayed in Yerevan for several days immediately after the parliamentary elections, Hayatsk paper reports, citing reliable sources.
According to the paper, Karapetyan was offered PM’s post by the President but the former Mayor understood that the game was not worth the candle, and it was inexpedient for him to become PM for 7-8 months.
“The President and former Mayor parted peacefully after agreeing on some issues. Then Karapetyan returned to Moscow,” the paper writes.
