HAK MPs refuse mandates of Council of Elders
Yerevan city Mayor Taron Margaryan said today during the Council of Elders of Yerevan that Armenian National Congress (HAK) members Lyudmila Sargsyan, Levon Zurabyan, Stepan Demirchyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Khachatur Kokobelyan have refused their mandates of elders’.
Mayor’s office said Republican Ruslan Baghdasaryan and Artavazd Sargsyan have also refused their mandates to be appointed as the heads of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative regions.
It was believed that HAK would take the mandates. Lyudmila Sargsyan, Levon Zurabyan, Stepan Demirchyan, Hrant Bagratyan have been elected as MPs by HAK proportional list, and Khachatur Kokobelyan will take his seat in the Parliament from the “Heritage” list.
