Venice hosts forum on Armenian business market
Venice hosted a business forum titled “Armenia: New Market for Italian Companies” on May 25 under the auspices of the Embassy of Armenia in Italy, Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
The forum was initiated by Armenian Ministry of Economy, Armenian Development Agency, InfoArmenia, Venice Municipality, and European Business Agency.
The event gathered together representatives of around 80 Italian companies from Veneto Province.
Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Harutyunyan and General Director of Armenian Development Agency Robert Harutyunyan addressed the forum.
In their remarks, they presented Armenia’s business environment as well as consistent steps towards its improvement, investment policy, tax policy, and constantly improving legal field. The speakers also dwelt on Armenia’s exports and imports indices, key sectors and assessments of our country by authoritative international organizations.
