David Tonoyan receives Special Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Patrick Murphy
First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia David Tonoyan received Thursday a delegation led by Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for the South Caucasus Patrick Murphy.
David Tonoyan presented Defense Ministry’s approaches to implementation of confidence-building measures, including development of mechanisms for investigating incidents at contact line and stopping sniper shootings from happening.
The Deputy Defense Minister drew guest’s attention to periodic ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan, stressing that the Armenian army within the limits of its competence carries out Armenia’s commitments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict negotiation process, Defense Ministry’s press office said.
