Sharmazanov: Criminal becomes more and more impudent
Azerbaijan once more proved that it carries out state-level terrorism and Armenophobia policy, planning at a high-level a military adventure ahead of the visit of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to Armenia, RPA spokesman Edward Sharmazanov told Panorama.am, commenting on Azerbaijan’s recent diversion attack on Armenian military posts.
Today Azerbaijan once again grossly violated the ceasefire, trying to break into Armenian military posts in the north-eastern region of the contact line near the village of Chinari. Armenian forces repulsed the enemy offensive. As a result of Azerbaijan’s diversion attack, 3 Armenian servicemen were killed; some soldiers were wounded.
According to Sharmazanov, this incident proves once more that Azerbaijan shows disrespect for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries and their principles.
“I think it’s high time that U.S. and the other two Co-Chair Countries clearly and at the highest level respond to such actions. The criminal becomes more and more impudent as long as the crime remains unpunished,” Sharmazanov concluded.
