Yerkir: Contenders for position of PAP leader’s spokesperson
According to Yerkir paper, names of several contenders for the position of PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokesperson are circulating: newly elected PAP MPs Vahan Babayan and Tigran Urikhanyan, member of PAP political board, journalist Vanik Elizbaryan and Kentron TV’s journalist Iveta Tonoyan.
According to the paper, old PAP members as well as people whose opinions count the most to Tsarukyan oppose the first two candidatures. Vanik Elizbaryan and Iveta Tonoyan are the most likely candidates for the job. However, Tonoyan may get a senior position in Kentron TV following major cadre changes in the TV company, the paper writes.
