D Babayan: Azerbaijan became slave of its policy
“It’s almost a tradition that during the visits of foreign senior officials to the region, Azerbaijan behaves that way. But it should be clearly recorded that this time the violations of ceasefire regime were more intensive,” Davit Babayan, the head of NKR President’s public relations department, told Panorama.am.
The NK official said Azerbaijan has adopted two basic directions for its statehood, the first one is anti-Armenian chauvinist and militaristic policy, which is, in fact, very dangerous.
“We’ve repeatedly said that unpredictable consequences might follow those processes. Azerbaijan has become slave of its policy,” said D Babayan.
Mr Babayan stressed that in 2013 presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan and that Aliyev needs to distract his people’s attention from the problems, that’s why they are undertaking such destructive steps.
Azerbaijan has disputes with Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan. NK official said Azerbaijan cannot be a reliable ally.
